Jack Scherer is president and founder of Driving Profit LLC and has worked with business startups and entrepreneurs for over 25 years. He started an integrated marketing agency, The Marketing Edge, which developed customized marketing plans for businesses, realizing the key to a business’ success was how effectively they created and retained customers.
From that business he co-founded a business-to-business magazine, Competitive Edge, written for entrepreneurs and business leaders.
From these experiences Jack learned that one of the greatest problems that businesses have is the ability to find and train successful salespeople. He then started SALESTALENT which is a sales development agency focusing on helping businesses with their sales strategy, sales recruiting, and customized sales training. This business was developed to be licensed in other markets throughout the U.S.
In addition to “Driving Profit: Start Your Own Business Service & Win”, Jack is the author of “The 21 Laws of Sales Success” and is a frequent speaker for businesses, colleges, and associations. He has been featured in USA Today, Success Magazine, Advertising Age, AdWeek, Franchising World, Folio, Business Opportunities and other publications.
For over eight years Jack has been a ministry leader at his church, helping people find new direction in their lives and careers through programs that teach networking skills, resume development, and interviewing techniques. The ministry also hosts Job Fairs for people to find new employment opportunities. He and his wife have two grown children who live in the Washington, D.C. area.
